Viruses, trojans, malware, spyware are terrible to have. I remember the earlier days of Windows 2000 and XP when viruses, trojans, and such made life a living hell, but the threat is still real. I do what I can to make sure I can avoid going into suspicious sites as well as downloading things that might be questionable. Lucky for me, living on campus, I was given a copy of Symantec Endpoint Protection, which I believe does a great job in scanning for viruses, spyware, and trojans as well as protecting my computer. I think as long as I backup my work often, the threat of virus and such won’t be as much. But sometimes I forget, so if I do get a virus, life would really suck. In all honesty, I think those people that came up with viruses, trojans, spyware, and malware just suck and are awful human beings. But thanks to Symantec, I feel that my computer is safer.
